Our Simple Installation Process Gives You Confidence When Getting a New Installation

1) Free In-Home Estimate: We confirm your project in your home after you choose your stove.

2) One Day Install: Most customers are thrilled to learn the actual installation often takes less than a day in your home.

3) Yearly Wood Stove or Insert Service: We tend to your wood stove yearly and keep it working through the winter.

We Don’t Just Sell Stoves & Fireplaces. We Engineer Comfort.

Moving Past the “Contractor Runaround”

We’ve spent decades fixing the mistakes of others. Too often, a homeowner is sold a beautiful stove, only to find themselves stranded between a showroom that doesn’t install, a mason who won’t touch a flue, and a “handyman” who doesn’t understand clearance-to-combustibles.

We’ve eliminated that friction. The Stove Shop is your single point of contact. We handle the technical heavy lifting and the structural integrity of the install, ensuring the “unknowns” are accounted for long before we strike the first match.

We are Guides, Not Salespeople

There is a specific science to how a home breathes. We believe that when you understand how a wood stove interacts with your home’s pressure and airflow, you’ll enjoy it more. We’ll tell you plainly if a stove is too big for your space or if your chimney requires a specific liner to draft correctly. Our goal is a fire that roars when you want it to and glows steady when you need it most.

We worked with Jay to help us determine the right gas insert for our wood Fireplace. We wanted to stay with the traditional look and still have the conveniences of the gas. He was very thorough and patient. He explained the pros and cons of each of the variations of the models. When we left the shop we had a full estimate and plenty of information to mull over and help cement our decision. He was an outstanding sales person, providing us with plenty of information, answering our questions, he was patient and polite and NOT pushy. I would highly recommend him and this business to other people. PS: We drove 4.5 hours to this dealership and we had one within miles of our home; but the sales staff and show room were sadly lacking.

After after over 25 years of use from our woodstove fireplace insert, which was installed by the Stove Shop, we replaced it with a new pellet stove. The whole experience was great from the people at the store to the installation by Nick and Dan. Great guys who did a fantastic job. If you want quality merchandise and an installation done correctly, I would highly recommend the Stove Shop!

We recently moved into our new home. Kevin arrived today to service our gas fireplace which hadn’t been serviced in a couple of years. As I was not familiar with this unit, Kevin’s knowledge and expertise answered all my questions. Step by step he guided me through the process. Even though we are at season’s end for fireplace use, I now feel comfortable in turning on our fireplace and enjoying a glass of wine with my wife as we watch the flames dance across the logs. I would highly recommend Kevin to service any of your needs.

The Stove Shop installed a new "prefab" fireplace to replace our old one. From the initial meeting with Alex in the salesroom to the final installation, we were very pleased and satisfied with the entire process. Very nice people! All our questions were answered and all of our requests were met. And the price was very reasonable compared to competitors. We would highly recommend The Stove Shop.

Wisdom for the Wise Homeowner

“Why does my current fireplace smoke?”

Smoke belongs in the flue, not your living room. Usually, it’s a matter of pressure or an undersized liner. We diagnose the “why” during our home visit so your new stove breathes perfectly from day one.

“Is the initial estimate the final word?”

It’s a starting point. We won’t give you a final price until we’ve stood in the room where the stove will live. This prevents “day-of” surprises and ensures the job is done to code.

“Why service a stove in the summer?”

Because the best time to fix a roof is when the sun is shining. By the time the leaves turn, our schedule is full. Summer service ensures your glass is clean and your flue is clear the moment the temperature drops.
