Heatilator is like the Q-Tip of fireplaces. Many people have them in their homes because it is a brand frequently used in builder homes. Heatilator base models are often inexpensive options chosen by the builder to fill the space without a lot of consideration for actual heating output. We find “builder” fireplaces are great candidates for upgrade or replacement depending on the homeowner’s goals. Some Heatilator fireplaces with upgrades are fantastic options.
