We have a 29-Year-Old Gas Fireplace and the remote stopped years ago! We had to start and stop at the bottom of the unit. We needed a service on the unit so The Stove shop sent out Kevin to help us. What a great person. He cleaned and serviced the unit and we needed a new Remote which he paired, and it works perfectly! Kevin kept us in the loop through the process! Excellent Service! We will be changing the fireplace in the future and will only use the Stove Shop

The Stove Shop was great to work with, and the Blaze King Sirocco is heating our home very nicely. Our installers, Nick and Mike, were terrific and were able to do the installation under tough weather conditions of sleet, snow and rain. Nick and Mike walked me thru first fire instructions and all the stove maintenance requirements, so we could be up and running without issues. I highly recommend the Stove Shop.

We are absolutely loving our Quadra Fire pellet-burning stove and could not be happier with our purchase! The entire team, including Ian, Kira, Alex, Nick and Mike were great to work with and the entire process was seamless! We installed the unit in our lower level where we entertain and watch The Birds, and we're enjoying the efficiency of the stove which quickly makes the entire space warm and toasty. Also, I got multiple bids from various companies and The Stove Shop was more affordable by $2k, and the other companies didn't even entertain trying to be competitive, so, their loss!!

I recently worked with Brandon at The Stove Shop in Phoenixville, and I can honestly say the experience was top-tier from start to finish. You don’t always expect true professionalism in a world of back-ordered parts and “we’ll be there sometime between sunrise and next Tuesday,” but Brandon sets a whole new standard. From the first conversation, it was clear he knows his stuff—and not in an “I’ve memorized the brochure” way, but in a calm, confident, I actually understand how this works way.
I ended up going with a Heat & Glo SupremeX with birch logs and the greige interior, and Brandon made the whole process feel effortless. He walked me through every detail without ever overselling, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood exactly what to expect. He was accommodating with timing, followed up quickly, and had that “we’re going to get this right” attitude that you rarely see anymore.
What really stands out is that he somehow manages to be both knowledgeable and genuinely funny—the kind of guy who can explain BTUs, venting clearances, and interior panel options while still keeping you laughing. Absolutely superb customer service! Very fast response to inquiry for repair to our pellet stove. Kim who called was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We had an appointment for the next day!
Kevin Shea arrived well within the time. He did a thorough job of inspecting our stove. He took extra time to provide instructions on how to clean the stove ourselves, very detailed and he showed us just what we needed to do. The problem turned out to be electrical. He was extremely kind and interacted in a fun way with my granddaughters.
We will be sure to have them back yearly or as needed for checkup and complete cleaning.

The Stove Shop ARE fireplace experts. Kira provides outstanding customer service with guarantees that they keep. Brandon rocks in his ability to repair products they sell or don’t sell. In our case, they provided a repair “in house” within 20 mins that I had attempted to fix using Internet resources for 3 months, paying too much money. They fixed it quick, correctly.. which folks, get your stuff fixed correctly by coming to this shop. Stop playing “I can fix it myself”, DIY.

Once again Jay gave me pointers on how I should do my install, additionally it was explained to me the differences between the various pellets and why some are definately a better quality. Jay even went as far as to check the internet for info that he was unsure about. Out of the various similar local shops that i visited, they were by far, in my opinion, the best. Go check them out. They are all very nice. If i could give him/them 10 stars i would.

The team at the Stove Shop were great from start to finish. Eric and Casey replaced our old insert/gas log set with the fancy new heat & glo escape 35. Eric took his time to explain everything about the unit, how to use the controls, and what to do if something unexpected happens.
The new insert heats up the entire first floor, has good controls, and can even be controlled via app or google home. We have been using it nonstop.
Most importantly, the cat loves her new fireplace. As soon as it’s turned on she takes up a post right in front of it.

We recently purchased a new pellet stove insert from The Stove Shop in Phoenixville to replace our old one. The entire experiencefrom start to finish has been excellent! It started when we walked into the showroom and were greeted by Jay. He is very knowledgeable. He walked us around and explained all of our options without trying to "upsell" or sway us in anyway. Once we had decided which insert we wanted, Jay helped us to get scheduled with Alex who came out to check our fireplace. The best part was, Jay called Alex and he was able to stop by that same day on his way home! We were given a couple different quotes so that there would be no hidden fees at install. Once everything was purchased and delivery scheduled the day finally arrived! Eric and Casey came out to do the installation. They did an excellent job! They paid close attention to detail and safety to ensure everything was set up properly. Eric and Casey even took the time to go through and explain everything about how the system works and all the maintenance steps needed to keep it running. Additionally Kira has done a great job keeping things moving smoothly from behind the scenes. Overall from start to finish The Stove Shop has been an excellent business to work with from start to finish! I highly recommend them and have already recommend them to my neighbor! The best part is we are supporting a local family owned business!

I have used it every day since Eric and Casey installed it. I am thrilled with the look, the functionality and the entire experience working with The Stove Shop! Jay helped me feel confident in picking the right product for my kitchen and providing me with everything I needed to navigate my HOA approval process. Their service and expertise in this specialty business is outstanding. They view us as a valued customer and bend over backwards to make sure things are right. They are very approachable and easy to talk to - Cyndi and Alex and Eric answered every question we had thoroughly and comfortably. We are happy and confident with our purchase.

We have a sunroom that isn't insulated, and of course, it's our favorite spot in the house, so when the weather gets too cold to keep the doors open, it's sad around here. We had the idea to put in a stove and within weeks we'd chosen a model, received expert support on how everything would work, and it was being installed. A few days later, the Stove Shop reached out to say there was one last small piece - our ceiling is higher than average out there and the guys didn't feel great about not adhering the exhaust pipe to the wall. They came back out in short order and installed in minutes. They were thinking of us once the job was technically already done. It hadn't been something on the original order - I had changed the location of the stove between estimation and install, so something like that would fall through.
Aside from the incredible service and it working even better than expected, it looks great and really makes the room. We could not be happier.

Very pleased with my new QuadraFire woodstove. This is a huge upgrade from my last stove, which I'd had for about 25 years. Also purchased the old stove from The Stove Shop, and I was happy to return to them. Thanks to Scott and Kira as well as the installers for a very pleasant and effortless experience. I would recommend the QuadraFire models to anyone looking for an easy to operate, clean burning, and efficient woodstove. Lots of performance for the money.

I called The Stove Shop in search of new firebrick for our Majestic fireplace (referred there by Majestic). Kira was very helpful looking up the parts and getting them ordered. The price was reasonable, the turnaround time was quick, and none of the panels were damaged. I am outside their service area unfortunately, but I would definitely return for firebrick or other Majestic parts.

Really great folks over there. Very pleased with the whole process, start to finish. In this day and age it´s rare to get such good service. A week after the installation, Bill dropped over to see if everything was ok. I told him things were good but I was running low on pimento loaf. Without hesitation Bill pulled a 1/2 pound out of his briefcase with some fresh kaiser rolls. In two minutes flat he whipped up a couple after sale sandwiches. What a guy!

We ordered a floor model sealed fireplace. The Stove Shop was easy to work with throughout the sales and installation process. The installation was smooth and they went above and beyond in diagnosing a gas leak as well as fixing a mistake by the general contractor who installed paper back insulation in the fireplace bump out. Once I had the gas leak fixed, they returned and verified the correct operation of the unit. Highly recommend.

Very knowledgeable and nice people. I inquired about a woodburning insert. They could have sold me E one but told me my room was really too small for one and it would be too hot and I would not be happy with it. Other places might have taken the sale and not worried about the customer being happy down the line.

The Stove Shop installed a Harmon63 pellet stove for us and we could not be happier with it and with them. Very professional, helpful, and kind from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. The project was finished in less than 4 hours and it's only been 3 days into the cold weather and I am already convinced it was an excellent decision. When temperatures get below freezing , our current heating system cannot keep up. This stove runs at a very high efficiency and high heat output, and far exceeded my expectations and even the assessed estimate of what kind of heat output we could expect. The stove is heating other rooms of our house.
I look forward to working with them in the future, and you would be wise to shop from them for any stove need. We are lucky to have them in southeastern PA.

I called a week or so ago to set an appointment to have our gas fireplace serviced re it had stopped working. Ian showed up right on time and he was exceptionally knowledgeble about the system.
He saw the problem right away, replaced a part, cleaned the entire system and was finished in about an hour. I was impressed. I have used other services in the past but the service didn't compare to today's. Thank you Ian & The Stove Shop.

We recently remodeled our Family Room wall which included a replacement of our existing wood-burning fireplace with a gas-burning unit from Stove Shop, along with some major re-designing.

We had a great shopping experience at The Stove Shop. We recently purchased a gas insert for our fireplace and the entire process from start to finish was stress free. The Stove Shop staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the products they sell. Installation was just as easy and really fast. The fireplace insert we chose is wonderful and has made our family room a cozy place to hang out. We love it!!!

We began the process of replacing our nearly 40-year old wood fireplace insert with a visit to The Stove Shop based on a recommendation. My wife and I spent a couple of hours there looking at possibilities and getting educated by Cyndy on options and planning recommendations. Our chimney needed repair and the fireplace required creosote remediation, so we knew this was going to be an expensive investment. The team at The Stove Shop was excellent to work with through each phase of the process with timely communication and excellent follow-up. The Excursion III was installed on time and we're awaiting the propane install this week. I can't say enough how pleasant the experience has been working with everyone at The Stove Shop and I highly recommend their products and services if you're looking to install or upgrade your fireplace / stove.

We had a great experience with the team at The Stove Shop. From sales to installation, everyone was friendly and responsive. After installation, we realized we didn’t love the surround we had been given for our new gas fireplace, so I requested to see a different size. They were happy to accommodate and came out quickly to swap it out for us. The whole team was easy to work with and I love the finished product.

We Do Not Offer Emergency Service
The services offered by The Stove Shop are for secondary heat only. We do not offer emergency 24 hour service. If you ever smell gas, call the gas company and request a shutoff immediately! If you see smoke, call the fire department. If you you have a chimney fire, close the damper immediately. Please remember, homeowners assume the responsibility of fire in their home when using a fireplace or stove. We do everything in our power to help you stay safe, but ultimately safe use and maintenance of a fireplace or stove is up to the user. Responsible burning and regular yearly service are essential for safe use.

National Fireplace Institute (NFI – Find a Pro)
If you did not receive your installation from The Stove Shop, you must be in our service radius. If we are unable to help service your fireplace, we will often recommend referring to the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) for a certified wood, pellet or gas service professional.
During colder months, our service schedule gets quite backed up. We might recommend you to NFI Certified Service Professionals if you own a fireplace or stove we are not comfortable servicing. The Stove Shop installs and services fireplaces and stoves primarily from the Hearth & Home Technologies family including Heat & Glo, Heatilator, Majestic, Quadra-Fire, Vermont Castings, Harman and SimpliFire.
Replacing an Old Fireplace or Stove
If your fireplace or stove is older than 20 years, you made it! Congratulations! You are in the golden years of your appliance. A lifespan of two decades is a major benefit of proper maintenance and regular service. At a certain point, even yearly service will not keep an old appliance running forever. We find most units beyond 25 years often need replacement.
Gas fireplaces, for example, use specific parts for each model. Some replacement parts for units older than 15-20 years are no longer available, like the infamous discontinued Honeywell RF valve. We dislike this as much as anyone and wish replacement parts were always available. We would always prefer to fix your functional fireplace than recommend a new appliance. In the unfortunate event that your fireplace is nonfunctional, we are here to help you navigate buying a replacement. This is not our goal when servicing your fireplace, but is something you should be prepared for if your appliance is older.
