We had an install yesterday done by Eric and Colin. They showed up on time. Were very professional and thorough. Walked me through first fire, the full stove operations and general faq’s. I could not be happier with them or the transaction.
Had something come up for the install date and they were able to reschedule for the very next day.
Top quality team and company!
Thank you again for the heat!

A very pleasant and seamless exercise installing a pellet stove. Store staff were friendly and informative, initial estimate was clear and fair, stove shop staff were on top of scheduling and communicated with us throughout. The inspection/installation proceeded well on the day - both Nick and Dan were extremely courteous, efficient and professional. There was a factory fault with the insert and the installers noted this and promised it would be rectified/replaced. We would recommend the Stove Shop for what can be a more complex task than we thought it might be (depending on your fireplace/chimney setup). Great experience overall.

My boyfriend and I have been looking at fire place inserts for our house. We were shopping around went to two local places and by far The stove shop is our favorite experience we have had.Jay Fedick was warm and inviting once we came in. We felt like we were a priority, at the other fireplace company we didn’t feel that way. Jay was very helpful and prepared based on our conversation when we setup our appointment! He had estimates already and took his time to explain the different inserts and to help us choose which one best suited our needs. We had tons of questions and he was able to answer them all. Cannot say enough how grateful and what a truly wonderful experience it was to work with Jay. We will be sure to spread the Stove Shop name as well as Jay’s to our family, and friends.

We had been utilizing the Stove Shop for parts and services for years while we had a wood insert. We moved to a home with electric heat and decided to supplement with a pellet stove unit. The in-shop assistance, communication by phone and email, measurement and in-home planning, and install went really good… time will tell if we (eventually) will have a cost savings compared to just using the electric, but we are hopeful.

Jay, Nick and Dan at The Stove Shop are incredible. Jay did a great job in understanding what I was looking for and gave me several options for me to consider. He made the experience easy. Nick and Dan did a great job with my chimney inspection. They took the time to answer my question and told me everything they checked and the results of their inspection. I am requesting that Nick and Dan come back for the fireplace insert installation. I highly recommend The Stove Shop.
Nick and Dan did another great job! They installed my natural gas fire insert. They were very neat and gave me updates on their progress. They explained everything to me and I have used it a couple times. It is absolutely wonderful!! I think of Jay, Nick and Dan every time I use the fireplace.

Been meaning to write Stove Shop a five star review for a while now! Every single time I call, email, or go into the shop, they are nothing but helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Ian did our inspection before Eric and Dan did an install for us, and we absolutely LOVE our insert! They were quick, clean and professional. Jay in the shop is so helpful and ready to answer any questions. Nothing but good experiences here and would recommend Stove Shop to anyone!

I had a great experience with The Stove Shop from start to finish. I recently had a Harman wood pellet stove installed, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the installation and the professionalism of the crew.
A special thank you to Dan, Nick, and Dali. They did an outstanding job with the installation. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to make sure everything was installed properly. They also did a great job explaining the system and making sure everything was cleaned up when the work was completed.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the care they took while working in my home. It's always refreshing to have contractors show up who clearly take pride in their work and want the customer to be satisfied with the finished product.
The stove looks great, the installation came out exactly as I had hoped, and the entire experience was smooth. I would definitely recommend The Stove Shop, and especially Dan, Nick, and Dali, to anyone considering a pellet stove or similar installation.
Great work, guys—thank you!

Jay & Alex were absolutely fantastic to work with. I explained what I needed, and they took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect solution for my home.
What really stood out was that they never tried to upsell me or push me toward something I didn’t need. Instead, they gave me honest, knowledgeable advice and pointed out a few things I hadn’t considered, which ultimately helped me choose a product that was a perfect fit.
Professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me make the right purchase. Employees like them are the reason customers come back. I would not hesitate to return for my next purchase and would absolutely ask for Jay & Alex again!

There are no words for the level of caretaking and concern delivered by The Stove Shop. We had a competitor come out and tols us it would be 100K to fix our 2 gas fireplace that wetre working but the remote was failing. We Called Stove Shop and Alex the manager said let them come out he was sure they could get them fixed. A few parts and a repairing of our remotes fixed them 100%. From Kim the sheduler to Nick and Kevin who fixed the units...they were prompt, communicative, cleaned the glas so it was like brand new. And affordable. What a breath of fresh air ro find an honest---quality company....Karen Bausman

We worked with Jay to help us determine the right gas insert for our wood Fireplace. We wanted to stay with the traditional look and still have the conveniences of the gas. He was very thorough and patient. He explained the pros and cons of each of the variations of the models. When we left the shop we had a full estimate and plenty of information to mull over and help cement our decision. He was an outstanding sales person, providing us with plenty of information, answering our questions, he was patient and polite and NOT pushy. I would highly recommend him and this business to other people. PS: We drove 4.5 hours to this dealership and we had one within miles of our home; but the sales staff and show room were sadly lacking.

My wife Jill and I bought a Harman (top of the line ) pellet stove BEFORE the big storm of January 25th. We didn't even price shop them because they came highly recommended. After having our Harman pellet stove for one more than 1 month, We Love it. My electric bill went down $90 for the month (during the coldest snap we've had in years). That's awesome!

Stove Shop installed a replacement gas fireplace/heater for an old unit in the home we just purchased. Most importantly, there were several serious safety issues with the old unit and we are grateful for the comprehensive inspection the Stove Shop folks did to identify those before something bad happened. The Stove Shop folks were able to recommend a economical replacement unit and did a wonderful job fixing the safety issues and installing a new unit. From the front line technicians to the back office staff, everyone we dealt with at the Stove Shop was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and focused on delivering outstanding customer service. I would, and will, do business with the Stove Shop again without hesitation and we strongly recommend them to you for all your fireplace and stove needs.

We are absolutely loving our Quadra Fire pellet-burning stove and could not be happier with our purchase! The entire team, including Ian, Kira, Alex, Nick and Mike were great to work with and the entire process was seamless! We installed the unit in our lower level where we entertain and watch The Birds, and we're enjoying the efficiency of the stove which quickly makes the entire space warm and toasty. Also, I got multiple bids from various companies and The Stove Shop was more affordable by $2k, and the other companies didn't even entertain trying to be competitive, so, their loss!!

I recently worked with Brandon at The Stove Shop in Phoenixville, and I can honestly say the experience was top-tier from start to finish. You don’t always expect true professionalism in a world of back-ordered parts and “we’ll be there sometime between sunrise and next Tuesday,” but Brandon sets a whole new standard. From the first conversation, it was clear he knows his stuff—and not in an “I’ve memorized the brochure” way, but in a calm, confident, I actually understand how this works way.
I ended up going with a Heat & Glo SupremeX with birch logs and the greige interior, and Brandon made the whole process feel effortless. He walked me through every detail without ever overselling, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood exactly what to expect. He was accommodating with timing, followed up quickly, and had that “we’re going to get this right” attitude that you rarely see anymore.
What really stands out is that he somehow manages to be both knowledgeable and genuinely funny—the kind of guy who can explain BTUs, venting clearances, and interior panel options while still keeping you laughing. It makes the whole experience lighter, faster, and a lot more enjoyable. But don’t let the humor fool you: the work was meticulous, and he clearly takes pride in doing things properly.
If you’re considering a fireplace or stove upgrade, do yourself a favor and talk to Brandon. Between his expertise, professionalism, and personality, he turns a big home decision into a genuinely smooth experience. The Stove Shop is lucky to have him—and now I’m lucky to have a fireplace that looks incredible and works even better.

Absolutely superb customer service! Very fast response to inquiry for repair to our pellet stove. Kim who called was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We had an appointment for the next day!
Kevin Shea arrived well within the time. He did a thorough job of inspecting our stove. He took extra time to provide instructions on how to clean the stove ourselves, very detailed and he showed us just what we needed to do. The problem turned out to be electrical. He was extremely kind and interacted in a fun way with my granddaughters.
We will be sure to have them back yearly or as needed for checkup and complete cleaning.

The Stove Shop ARE fireplace experts. Kira provides outstanding customer service with guarantees that they keep. Brandon rocks in his ability to repair products they sell or don’t sell. In our case, they provided a repair “in house” within 20 mins that I had attempted to fix using Internet resources for 3 months, paying too much money. They fixed it quick, correctly.. which folks, get your stuff fixed correctly by coming to this shop. Stop playing “I can fix it myself”, DIY.
I would use The Stove Shop Fireplace experts for every future need and recommend you do too. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Kira and Brandon.

I went into the store the first time and was greeted by Patrick, and Jay. They were extremy knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly
The attention that Jay gave to me, explaining all that i needed to know, in order to purchase the perfect Pellet stove and neccessary accessories for just the right installation. Numerous times since my purchase i returned to the store with many questions. Once again Jay gave me pointers on how I should do my install, additionally it was explained to me the differences between the various pellets and why some are definately a better quality. Jay even went as far as to check the internet for info that he was unsure about. Out of the various similar local shops that i visited, they were by far, in my opinion, the best. Go check them out. They are all very nice. If i could give him/them 10 stars i would.

We recently purchased a new pellet stove insert from The Stove Shop in Phoenixville to replace our old one. The entire experiencefrom start to finish has been excellent! It started when we walked into the showroom and were greeted by Jay. He is very knowledgeable. He walked us around and explained all of our options without trying to "upsell" or sway us in anyway. Once we had decided which insert we wanted, Jay helped us to get scheduled with Alex who came out to check our fireplace. The best part was, Jay called Alex and he was able to stop by that same day on his way home! We were given a couple different quotes so that there would be no hidden fees at install. Once everything was purchased and delivery scheduled the day finally arrived! Eric and Casey came out to do the installation. They did an excellent job! They paid close attention to detail and safety to ensure everything was set up properly. Eric and Casey even took the time to go through and explain everything about how the system works and all the maintenance steps needed to keep it running. Additionally Kira has done a great job keeping things moving smoothly from behind the scenes. Overall from start to finish The Stove Shop has been an excellent business to work with from start to finish! I highly recommend them and have already recommend them to my neighbor! We have dealt with The Stove Shop for years, we just had a new Heat & Glo Escape natural gas insert installed replacing a unit that was underperforming (not their fault). We have a sunroom that isn't insulated, and of course, it's our favorite spot in the house, so when the weather gets too cold to keep the doors open, it's sad around here. We had the idea to put in a stove and within weeks we'd chosen a model, received expert support on how everything would work, and it was being installed. A few days later, the Stove Shop reached out to say there was one last small piece - our ceiling is higher than average out there and the guys didn't feel great about not adhering the exhaust pipe to the wall. They came back out in short order and installed in minutes. They were thinking of us once the job was technically already done. It hadn't been something on the original order - I had changed the location of the stove between estimation and install, so something like that would fall through.
Aside from the incredible service and it working even better than expected, it looks great and really makes the room. We could not be happier.

Really great folks over there. Very pleased with the whole process, start to finish. In this day and age it´s rare to get such good service. A week after the installation, Bill dropped over to see if everything was ok. I told him things were good but I was running low on pimento loaf. Without hesitation Bill pulled a 1/2 pound out of his briefcase with some fresh kaiser rolls. In two minutes flat he whipped up a couple after sale sandwiches. What a guy!

Very knowledgeable and nice people. I inquired about a woodburning insert. They could have sold me E one but told me my room was really too small for one and it would be too hot and I would not be happy with it. Other places might have taken the sale and not worried about the customer being happy down the line.

The Stove Shop installed a Harmon63 pellet stove for us and we could not be happier with it and with them. Very professional, helpful, and kind from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. The project was finished in less than 4 hours and it's only been 3 days into the cold weather and I am already convinced it was an excellent decision. When temperatures get below freezing , our current heating system cannot keep up. This stove runs at a very high efficiency and high heat output, and far exceeded my expectations and even the assessed estimate of what kind of heat output we could expect. The stove is heating other rooms of our house.
I look forward to working with them in the future, and you would be wise to shop from them for any stove need. We are lucky to have them in southeastern PA.

If you are planning to put in a fireplace or stove go to The Stove Shop, you won't get burned!!
We went to the Stove Shop where we had purchased our fireplace insert 16 years ago to see about getting a new one even though we have had no problems with the old one except the yearly maintenance is difficult. A new one would have the same issues, so the salesman (whose name I can't remember) told us that a new one would have the same problem and our old one should be good for quite a few years to come. He basically talked us out of buying a new one and his colleague agreed. they gave us a suggestion for a chimney sweep that would be much cheaper that a new fireplace.
If we decide to switch to a gas fireplace in the future we will definitely be coming back to The Stove Shop.

I've been selling real estate for the last 23 years and the toughest part about a referral is: are they going to show up, are they going to do what they said they would and is the quote going to match the bill. The answer in every category a resounding YES!
Ian the service tech is a rock star! Conscientious, professional, friendly, courteous and super knowledgeable! Who knew spiders could take out a propane fireplace!! Ian did as soon as he arrived! When Ian was finished with the service call both fireplaces were in outstanding working order, cleaner than ever before and operating perfectly! Thank you for being on your game, experience does matter! And I will absolutely refer your business!

I called a week or so ago to set an appointment to have our gas fireplace serviced re it had stopped working. Ian showed up right on time and he was exceptionally knowledgeble about the system.
He saw the problem right away, replaced a part, cleaned the entire system and was finished in about an hour. I was impressed. I have used other services in the past but the service didn't compare to today's. Thank you Ian & The Stove Shop.

We recently remodeled our Family Room wall which included a replacement of our existing wood-burning fireplace with a gas-burning unit from Stove Shop, along with some major re-designing.
Cyndy Ryan and Alex Simpson were extremely helpful, providing insight and input to the project that went well beyond selecting the best fireplace insert to purchase.
My wife & I are very happy with the finished result and can't thank Cyndy & Alex enough.

We had a great shopping experience at The Stove Shop. We recently purchased a gas insert for our fireplace and the entire process from start to finish was stress free. The Stove Shop staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the products they sell. Installation was just as easy and really fast. The fireplace insert we chose is wonderful and has made our family room a cozy place to hang out. We love it!!!

We began the process of replacing our nearly 40-year old wood fireplace insert with a visit to The Stove Shop based on a recommendation. My wife and I spent a couple of hours there looking at possibilities and getting educated by Cyndy on options and planning recommendations. Our chimney needed repair and the fireplace required creosote remediation, so we knew this was going to be an expensive investment. The team at The Stove Shop was excellent to work with through each phase of the process with timely communication and excellent follow-up. The Excursion III was installed on time and we're awaiting the propane install this week. I can't say enough how pleasant the experience has been working with everyone at The Stove Shop and I highly recommend their products and services if you're looking to install or upgrade your fireplace / stove.

We had a great experience with the team at The Stove Shop. From sales to installation, everyone was friendly and responsive. After installation, we realized we didn’t love the surround we had been given for our new gas fireplace, so I requested to see a different size. They were happy to accommodate and came out quickly to swap it out for us. The whole team was easy to work with and I love the finished product.

We LOVE our new gas fireplace with heater fan ( replaced existing one ) !! From Alex in the show room to Ian ( surveyor ), Eric and Dan the installers and the ladies in customer service - everyone was great.
Eric and Dan explained everything they were doing. They were neat, professional and efficient! We highly recommend the Stove Shop and we are glad we shopped around. The local place wanted to charge $1500 just to remove our old one 😡 , Stove Shop only charged $300. Thank you again to The Stove Shop!!
